19 and 28 May, 2025
At Art for Good, we believe that kindness can start small — with little hands, little voices, and little hearts. That belief came to life in our recent Little Hearts, Big Kindness preschool art excursions, where K1 and K2 children from Star Learners Preschool (Pasir Ris) visited our inclusive art studio on 19 and 28 May 2025.
This specially curated 1.5-hour program was more than just an art session — it was a joyful, educational journey designed to nurture empathy, celebrate diversity, and build the foundation for inclusion from an early age.
💖 A Program Designed to Grow Big Hearts
During their visit, the children took part in a series of engaging, age-appropriate activities that blended creativity with social awareness:
Created kindness-inspired artwork that reflected what it means to care, share, and help others.
Learned about different abilities — how some friends may move, see, or hear in unique ways.
Practiced empathy and inclusion through thoughtful discussions, storytelling, and real-life examples.
One of the highlights was the gentle introduction to artworks created by children, teens, and adults with disabilities. Through these pieces, the young participants explored different ways people express themselves and communicate through art, encouraging them to see beyond differences and connect with the heart.
🌈 A Safe and Supportive Space for Discovery
Our art studio was transformed into a vibrant, inclusive learning space filled with laughter, curiosity, and meaningful conversations. Guided by our experienced facilitators, each session gave children the space to reflect, ask questions, and express their understanding of kindness in their own creative ways.
We were deeply moved by their openness, warmth, and thoughtful insights — proof that even the youngest among us are capable of deep compassion and understanding.
💡 Planting the Seeds of Inclusion Early
At Art for Good, our mission is to use art as a tool for positive social change. The Little Hearts, Big Kindness program is part of our broader effort to create inclusive spaces where children of all backgrounds and abilities can learn together.
We are honoured to have partnered with Star Learners Preschool for this meaningful experience, and we look forward to welcoming more young minds to our studio in the months to come.
