Bath Time depicts a gentle moment of self-care, with a hippo enjoying a bubble bath in soft, calming pastel tones. The hippo, often associated with heaviness, is shown in a tender state of rest, symbolising the need to slow down and be held in care. Playful 3D clay elements—a rubber duck, soap, toy car, and toothbrush—add warmth and familiarity, evoking comfort, routine, and childhood memories.

Andrea was diagnosed with a metabolic condition in 2022, which impacts her mobility, dexterity, and energy levels. Navigating frequent medical appointments and periods of hospitalisation has meant time away from school, and she is currently on a reduced curriculum. Through art therapy, Andrea has found a safe and meaningful space to express her inner world.
