Service Description

Join us for our Macramé Workshop, an opportunity to slow down, be present, and experience the quiet joy of creating with our hands! Belle Gan is a self-taught fiber artist whose practice explores connection, motherhood, healing, and self-discovery through yarn, thread, and knot. Her relationship with fiber art began in secondary school, when she picked up crochet as a way to reconnect with her mother. Years later, after becoming a mother, she discovered macramé and found in its slow, repetitive process a sense of grounding and calm. During this session, Belle will be leading us in crafting a Macramé coaster. The repetitive process of tying, looping, and knotting creates a natural rhythm that encourages mindfulness. With our hands busy working with the fibers, we can step away from the noise and distractions of everyday life and give ourselves permission to pause. No prior experience is required. Everyone is welcome! If parents are interested in bringing their children, Macramé is suitable for children aged 9 and above. What you'll experience - Macramé art - Practice mindfulness through repetitive process of tying, looping, and knotting - Reconnecting with self through the simple act of making One knot at a time. One breath at a time. A little time to simply be.
