As part of the Merdeka Generation Celebration Open House at Pasir Ris Elias Community Club, Art for Good had the pleasure of conducting a lively Clay Art Workshop for residents of all ages. This community art initiative aimed to introduce participants to a new art-making experience while bringing people together through creativity.
We worked with a colourful, easy-to-use, non-toxic, and child-friendly air-dry clay medium that allowed everyone to create with ease. Guided by our facilitators, participants shaped charming garden-themed figurines—caterpillars, bees, flowers, and ladybugs soon filled the tables. Some of the children went even further, letting their imagination run free with their own whimsical creations. (Keep an eye out—you might even spot a dinosaur!)
Beyond the adorable artworks, the workshop encouraged self-expression, exploration, and fun, showing how creativity can flourish in unexpected ways. Invitations like these are close to our hearts, as they give us the chance to celebrate art as a joyful tool for connection and community building.
