Passion Arts Festival is organised by People’s Association with the objective of bringing quality art programmes to the community by the community. For Passion Arts Festival 2018, Art for Good was engaged by various partners to provide art activities to the public. We were proud to be part of this community art project and we look forward to more engagements in future!

Mug Painting Workshop with Heartbeat @ Bedok
A 2-hour art workshop, where participants created mug designs with National Day theme. This workshop was open to participants of all ages and we were amazed at their creativity and designs! What a great way to be appreciative and grateful for the Singapore we have today.
Food Art Workshop with Punggol CCAC
We engaged children from the public in a food art workshop, art you can eat! We made the “Happy Dolphin”, “Shaun the Sheep” and “Dog and Bone” during the workshop. The children were thrilled and excited to make food art (and snack on them afterwards)!
Art for Good Booth at Heartbeat@Bedok
Heartbeat@Bedok generously provided a booth for us at their festival event, to promote our social enterprise Art for Good. We had participants stopping by our booth to write messages of encouragement for our beneficiaries who were struggling with difficult times. Most of the participants who stopped by were children. It was nice to see empathy, compassion and the giving spirit from such an early age.
We also had a guest of honour, Member of Parliament, Mr. Lee Yi Shyan, stopping by our booth to find out more about what we do and how he can support. We are grateful for opportunities like these to explore how we can help more children through our organisation.
Art Jamming Workshop with Bishan North CO / Thomson CC / Bishan East / Toa Payoh
We had a mission to engage 100 participants to paint together in one day, and we did it!
We had many participants dropping by at our Art Jamming booth at Toa Payoh Central to make art together. We had participants of all ages coming and joining us for this event. We had such an overwhelming response that we had to extend our booth for an additional 2 hours! For those who had dropped by that day to support our community event, we would like to say a big “Thank You!”.
