Andrea was diagnosed with a metabolic condition in 2022, which impacts her mobility, dexterity, and energy levels. Navigating frequent medical appointments and periods of hospitalisation has meant time away from school, and she is currently on a reduced curriculum. Through art therapy, Andrea has found a safe and meaningful space to express her inner world.
